Welcome

I originally came from the horse showing world, primarily hunter/jumper. During vet school I no longer had access​​​ to my horses and had to find a new way to occupy my time. I loved training animals and naturally I migrated from horses to working dogs. I initially started with agility, graduated to IGP with my first dutch shepherd, and later found a passion for PSA (protection sport association). The thrill of having a dog with so much control, body precision, and intensity that I could switch back and forth from bite work to obedience was exhilarating. Within the bite sport world I found a strong appreciation for competition focused heeling. It reminded me deeply of the hunter gait in horse showing. Very calculated fluid movements. Teaching a driven dog a focused heel is probably my favorite skill. Because of this passion I have been fortunate to earn high obedience, tie for high obedience, or be within the top two spots almost every time I compete across the various sports with multiple dogs.

My kennel is most focused on dutch shepherds and imported working line german shepherds. I breed only on occasion and are very particular about what dam and sire we choose. My goal is not to flood the market with subpar dogs to make a paycheck. The ultimate goal is to produce my next generation or sport and protection dogs not only for myself, but for others to enjoy as well. I am focused on health tested, highly driven dogs, who have stable & social temperaments.​ My dogs compete primarily in PSA (protection sports association) and IGP (schutzhund). In our free time we also participate in fast cat, dock diving, rally obedience, frisbee, and hiking. My dogs travel the country with my boyfriend and I in our 41' toy hauler RV for competitions and various adventures.
